Before becoming a pastor, he ministred as an evangelist in California, Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada.

Pastor Ed is currently the director of the "We Care Ministry", which is designed to welcome and minister to those who are new to Bethel teaches a Wednesday night adult class. He graduated top of his class from Bethany College in Santa Cruz, CA.

Ed & Norma have been married 44 years. They have a daughter, Brenda who lives with her husband Bob in Gilroy, CA.
