Leticia was born in Texas but moved to California at the age of 2. She met and married her high school sweetheart in San Jose, California. In 1987 they moved to Modesto to "raise a family of four" which soon became "a family of five". In 1989 she began attending Bethel Church where she gave her heart to the Lord on May 7. While raising their five children, she has been involved in many ministries including, Missionettes, Nursery, Sunday School, Women's Ministries and helps with the monthly newcomers' lunch. In 2001 she accepted a position in the church office as an Administrative Assistant for the pastoral staff and continues to minister in this area.
